PIL seeks cancellation of Sanjay Dutt’s release on remission

Just a day before when Sanjay Dutt will be coming out of the Yerwada Jail ,
a public interest litigation has been filed in the Bombay High Court stating and challenging his early release and  giving him extra privileges being an actor.   This PIL that has been filed against the decision is done by a social activist named Pradeep that has pleaded to the High court to cancel the decision of leaving sanjay Dutt earlier of his due statement. He was punished with 5 year jail imprisonment
. Dutt is slated to walk out of Yerawada prison near Pune tomorrow after getting remission (reduction) of sentence.
According to the Maharashtra Home department he has been issued this remission as he was showing a good conduct . According to Nitin Satpute who is a lawyer he states that what about the other prisoners who are also sowing good conduct and has filled application for remission but can not achieve that because they are poor and not popular. What about the ones rotting in jail from years for simple pity offences.
On July 31, 2007, the TADA court in Mumbai sentenced him to six years’ rigorous imprisonment under the Arms Act and imposed a fine of Rs 25,000.
