scientist have opened the door for the development of the new treatment for the lethal disease sepsis, for which they have designed and deduced a gene that basically triggers the inflammatory conditions. Sepsis is basically a severe whole body infection that occurs as a rare complicated infection, but if not treated quickly can result into septic shocks and then multiple organ failure which almost increase the death rate by 50 %. This finding will be proving as the key to unlock the ability to clearly shutdown the killer disease into the life threatening stage as explained by co founder Chris Goodnow who is from Australian National University. Researchers are aware that sepsis occurs when molecules that are basically known as lipopolysaccharides gets triggered as a immune response that causes self destruction of the bacteria. But still how does it self destroy itself still remains the mystery. This was like a triumph for the team. Researchers have screened thousands of bacteria’s over the time and found a protein called Gasdrmin D that plays the crucial role in the pathways of the sepsis.
