Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Digital India will be an enterprise for Transforming India, as India has unmatched potential and development skills. “Digital India will be a start for India’s new transforming phase which will be truly unique and unmatched in history” said Pm Modi on Saturday at the gathering in Silicon Valley San Joes.
PM Modi has become the first Indian Prime minister to visit silicon Valley an last three decades. He also added that he want paperless transactions and thus will be providing every citizen with digital locker to share documents across all the departments. “After launching MyGov.in site that keeps track of all government related schemes and works, we have just launched the Narendra Modi Mobile App which takes a step further by helping me stay in close touch with people,” he said which was continued with applause from the audience.
He wants his 1.25 billion of population to become digitalized and connect as already government will be providing broadband connectivity. He added that he see technology has a means of power that can bridge the distances between hopes and opportunities. He was accompanied with Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayan, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and Qualcomm executive chairman Paul Jacobs.
” Its our duty to ensure that technology is accessible, and affordable by every one than only we could rise through technology” he said, his government is giving high priority to Cyber security intellectual property. He also listed all the measures that his government is taking for building this bridge between technology and enterprises.
