Blood cancer develops from prior blood disorder

In London some researchers have found that a blood cancer can develop from symptomless prior blood disorder in the patient. This findings will be helpful in providing more effective treatment to the patients as by diagnosing the risk of development of the cancer. According to the study all those patients who has myeloma a cancer of blood in bone marrow, were previously having a condition called monoclonal gammopathy or generally termed as MGUS. This is a very exciting discovery in the field of medical as now a drug that will act as a interface between these initial developed metabolic changes could make an effective treatment for the myeloma. MGUS is mostly common in the older aged people that progresses to cancer in 1 in a 100. ¬†Researchers have found that the samples of MGUS patients were different from from healthy volunteers but had some similarities with myeloma samples.
