Android Auto Doesn’t Ask for a Lot of Data, Says Google

Google has stated in its recent statement that its Android Auto does not collect a lot of data. The question aroused when Porsche stated that it will  not be including Android Auto in its car systems as it captures and record all the data related to vehicle sped, throttle position, oil temperature etc., and eventually transmits it to the company database. Porsche opted it out from including it in the new 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera S. But on this statement Google stated that it only capture a few pieces of information through its Android auto that is particularly used to take the information required for the GPS. Google also added to its statement that it wants to make it clear straight that they take the information that is more priory needed . It does not collects the private information’s and takes the cases seriously. It also takes the Throttle position and coolant temp information.  Motor Trend in its article stated the reason of removing and not including Google Android Auto in the Porsche cars are the reasons of customer’s privacy.
