Alzheimer’s Drug May Help Smokers Kick The Butt: Study

A class of drug has been found that belongs to the improvement cognitive impairment of the Alzheimer disease may be very helpful to the patients of smoking t opermanently quit smoking . There has been various drug therapies that were been studied and used to make people quit the smoking where  Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania have seen a proper break down of smoking in smokers who have used these medications used to improve cognitive impairment from Alzheimer’s disease.
This study was done in two trial one on the rat and the other on the human where they used effects of two acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, or AChEIs, called galantamine and donepezil  to measure nicotine intake. The test performed on rat showed that due to these medicines it had a lowering in its nicotine consumption and in human 12 percent of people showed less satisfaction after drinking smoke.
