Alcohol Intake May up Breast Cancer Risk: Study

 

As in current scenarios alcohol intake is increasing drastically and thus it is also responsible for the increase in the risk of breast cancer , it increases to quadruples with every one glass of wine or beer  according to the new study. An altruistic collaboration of 334,850 women under the age group of  35 and 70 from among the ten European countries have corroborated the link between the alcohol and the breast cancer risk . The study is performed by five  Spanish Universities that were concerning over the adverse effect of wine intake with regard to the breast cancer risk were universities (Asturias, Granada, Murcia, Navarra and San Sebastian).

Accordingly a women’s average risk of breast cancer increases with 4 percent with every 10 grams per day of alcohol as stated by the Maria Dolores Chirlague who is the Spanish Scientist  of the team. The number of years that a women has been exposed to the use of the alcohol will determine the increased risk of breast cancer in her.
