Astronaut Runs Marathon in Space – but Slower Than on Earth

British astronaut Tim Peake in space has recently become the Song Main to complete his Marathon in space by running almost 26.2 miles of distance on the striped treadmill on International Space Station.

Tim  has covered this full distance in approximately 35 minutes and 21 seconds. He has recorded it by real race winner .

Peake’s zero gravity effort, while out of this world, was still more than a quarter of an hour slower than the 3:18:50 he had clocked on earth as a keen, ultra-fit fun runner back in 1999.
